Promotion for the DC Universe’s streaming series Titans is ramping up. The series will premiere on the new streaming service October 12, 2018. Created for television by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti, Titans follows a young group of superheroes who find themselves combating a plot that threatens the entire planet.

Buzz for the series got off to a rocky start when in the first trailer featured the character Dick Grayson utter the words F**k Batman which drew ire from fans of both Nightwing and The Dark Knight. Other complaints related to what looked like poor production quality and the curious decision to have one of the characters: Starfire dress up as a street prostitute.

The second official trailer has been released for the series…let’s take a peek:

“I’m detective Dick Grayson.”

Toruk's Take

Ugh. Awful. Detective Dick Grayson? What is he 22?Everything looks bad. The powers look bad. The characters look bad. I don't know what kind of drugs they were taking when they thought up Starfire's get-up but they need to change dealers. I usually look at a trailer a few times to garner the details but this was so awful I couldn't do it.

Just...no.

Titans starring Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft and Ryan Potter streams on the DC Universe October 12.
