Based on Santiago García and Pepo Pérez’s comic The Neighbor tells the story of Javier, a 20-something struggling with adulthood and his girlfriend who unexpectedly becomes a superhero.
Lost in translation. Or so I truly hope, because if the subtitles are a true indication of the original dialogue this one is a stinker. I suppose there is no strict rule that a superhero has to be likeable or at least not have a face you want to punch but I think it goes a long way. This show’s hero has neither. The costume isn’t terrible, but everything else sure is.Toruk's Take
