Netflix Releases Trailer For The OA Season 2 (OA Part II)

Netflix’s original series the OA created by Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling is back after a few years (the first season was in 2016). The first part introduced us to Prairie Johnson, who after having been missing for seven years, returns home in her twenties with her sight restored (she was blind).

I haven’t watched the trailer but I’m guessing (by the IMDB pics for this season) the second part will treat us with an extra helping of wokeness. I think I’ll pass this time.

Michael Jackson Family Blast Documentary As Pack Of Lies

Michael Jackson

It looks like weaves and Jerry curl juice are about to start flying as the Jackson Family are boiling mad about the Dan Reed documentary Leaving Neverland. Appearing on CBS This morning, three of Jackson’s brothers defended the deceased pop star stating the documentary “is not telling the truth.”

“There has not been not one piece of evidence that corroborates their story,” Marlon Jackson said. “And they’re not interested in doing that.”

They also blasted Jackson’s accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck:

“It’s always been about money,” Taj Jackson said. “I hate to say it when it’s my uncle, it’s almost like they see a blank check. These people felt that they’re owed something. You know, instead of working for something, they blame everything on my uncle.”

The director Dan Reed basically counters these arguments by insisting that Jackson was a dirty kid boinker.

“I think for many years Jackson got away with this image of being a bit of a child himself and being very affectionate with children, and I wanted to make sure people understood this wasn’t overenthusiastic kissing or cuddling,” Reed said. “This was sex, the kind of sex adults have but he was having with a little child.”

Since this has essentially turned into a he said he’s dead situation no one will ever really know for sure. It will remain a dark cloud that will forever hang over the pop stars legacy.
